About
We offer a range of beginner, intermediate and advanced classes where we delve more deeply into the methods and processes used in geometric design. The classes focus on different aspects of technique and design looking at geometry and pattern from sites around the world.
Classes have a specific focus with the objective of developing a deeper understanding of the topic as a whole. We explore the patterns in detail working through the underlying structures within them as well as the history and application of these patterns.
We update our classes regularly and multiple times, so take a look and see what we have on offer. All current classes are listed below. You can also contact us if there is a specific class that you want us to run again or a specific topic that is of interest to you.

Discover the Art Behind the Pattern
Discover rare and breathtaking patterns from across cultures, learn to draw them with the timeless tools of compass and ruler, and watch your creations come alive as you transfer, tessellate, and paint your own intricate designs.
Along the way, you'll uncover diverse techniques that elevate your artistic confidence and skill. Beginners welcome as well as experienced artists. And don’t worry if you have to miss a session you’ll receive the full PDF guide so you can dive back in without skipping a beat.

Materials:
Students will need to purchase some art supplies, such as a sketchbook, watercolour paper, tracing paper and paints. Compasses will be provided for those who don't have them.

World of Pattern
An Online Monthly Pattern Club
Join our monthly pattern club, where we gather online to explore and draw a new pattern each session. This time we are going to step beyond the patterns of the Alhambra, embarking on a global journey, discovering and creating patterns from all around the world.
Each session will focus on a different design, looking at where it comes from and how it’s created, guiding you step-by-step as we draw together, followed by a Q&A and a chance to share your work. One of the unique aspects of this world of geometry is the sense of community each course fosters, building connections and friendships as we explore the beauty of geometric patterns. I look forward to seeing familiar faces regularly!

Draw the Geometric Pattern or add beautiul flowery biomorphs. Or both!
Drawing and painting this over the last little while has been very therapeutic, in what was a bit of a tough time for a few reasons. And it is still hot!! But it is always true that it is good for the soul to draw and paint, a truly relaxing thing to do both cognitively and for your inner essence. Join me on Monday 31st August at 7pm to draw this lovely geometry and you can also draw the beautiful biomorphic flowers. That’s two patterns from one class which gives you lots of time to relax and enjoy painting. And if you can’t make it live you will be sent a recording so you can draw at an even more leisurely pace!

No experience is required!
Whether you're new to art, a casual creator, or a seasoned artist looking to add a new technique to your repertoire, this course offers a welcoming and accessible environment for everyone. During class we will draw the patterns and constructs designs based upon the specific methods involved. Time is also spent studying the techniques that apply to drawing these designs as well as techniques for painting using different mediums. Then after class you are sent the recording as well as a pdf with detailed step by step instructions, so you can draw the pattern as many times as you like!
Regular Schedule
Sessions will be held on the last Monday of each month, from 7:00 to 8:30/9.00 PM Spanish time (8:00 to 9:30 PM BST). Use this time converter to find your local time.

We’ll start by looking at grids that will allow you to extract various patterns, optimising what you can understand about patterns as you progress.
To maximise our time together, we'll focus on drawing rather than painting, ensuring that we can dive deeper into pattern work and understanding.
This approach will help you take as much knowledge as possible with you.
